'Gyeongbokgung Palace was the first royal palace built in the Joeson Dynasty
and is where the Joseon Dynasty's 500-year history began. The largest of the
five grand palaces remaining in Seoul, Gyeongbokgung Palace provides a
glimpse into Joseon's royal culture, palace life and architecture.
This 555 m-long, 34 m-wide square is in front of Gwangwawmun, the main gate of
Geongbokgung. Statues of Admiral Yi Sunsin and King Sejong, two of the most respected
historical figures in Korea, are situated here

The most iconic cathedral in Korea, this cathedral has symbolized Korean
Catholicism for 120 years. As Korea's first Gothic cathedral, it is known for
its majestic beauty.
Insa-dong, located in the heart of the city, is an important place where old
but precious and traditional goods are on display. There is one main road
in Insa-dong with alleys on each side. Within these alleys are galleries and
traditional restaurants, teahouses, and cafes.
During the latter half of the Joseon period, Gyeonghuigung Palace served
as the secondary palace for the king. Situated on the west side of Seoul, it
was also called Seogwol, meaning "a palace of the west." The secondary
palace was where the king moved to in times of emergency.
Standing at 236.7 meters tall, Namsan Seoul Tower is Namsan's main
tourist attraction where visitors can enjoy a complete view of Seoul. Enjoy
Seoul's beautiful night views from the observatory on the 4th and 5th floor,
or in the revolving restraurant on the 7th floor.
