Patent Attorney

Hyun-Soo Kim is a patent attorney with ample experience in prosecuting patent applications before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) in the technical fields of chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmaceuticals and medicine. Ms. Kim also has registered patent lists regarding the drug patent-approval linkage system.

Prior to joining Lee International IP & Law, Ms. Kim worked as a patent attorney in charge of chemical group at Hanol Intellectual Property & Law (2007), Y.S. Chang & Associates (2007~2014) and E.M. Hwang & Partner (2015~2016), dealing with diversified works before the USPTO, the JPO, EPO and SIPO as well as KIPO. She had been engaged in manufacturing and selling industrial chemicals at ProtexKorea Co., Ltd., before becoming a patent attorney.

Ms. Kim graduated from Ewha Womans University (B.A. in Chemistry) in 1998. She is fluent in Korean and English and has a professional working knowledge of Japanese.

Ms. Kim is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association.
