Sang-Yun Bok is a patent attorney who has an in-depth expertise in chemistry, chemical engineering and pharmaceuticals. While handling matters related to patent filing, Ms. Bok renders legal opinion to various multinational companies on patentability, invalidation appraisals and infringement appraisals on polymers, composites, nanomaterials and semiconductor technologies. Ms. Bok is also in charge of a variety of trials and adjudication cancellation lawsuits that include provision of information, appeals against the decision of rejection and applications for patent revocation.

After being admitted to the patent bar, Sang-Yun Bok worked at C&S Patent & Law Office (2011-2012) where he rendered advice to inventors and drafted and registered patent applications in the field of ink composition and polarizers. From 2012, Ms. Bok worked at Lee International IP & Law until she temporarily left the Firm in 2018. During the period when Ms. Bok left the Firm, she worked at Ha & Ha IP and Law Firm (2019-2022) where she built an in-depth expertise and experience in inventions related to photoresists and compositions, materials and parts in the field of semiconductor manufacturing.

Sang-Yun Bok graduated from Yonsei University (Department of Chemical Engineering, 2007). She is fluent in English and can work in Japanese. Ms. Bok is currently a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association.
