Sun-Young Ong is a patent attorney at Lee International IP & Law. Since 2024, Ong is in charge of matters as to trademarks and designs, domain names, copyrights, and unfair competition laws. She also handles trademark filings and registrations, as well as various trial and litigation matters arising in connection with trademark registrations, including objections, provision of information, invalidation and cancellation. Ong provides legal services by preparing contracts and giving advice on trademark disputes, unfair competition violations and trademark transfer for domestic and international clients.

After being admitted as a Korean Patent & Trademark Attorney in 2017, Ong worked in the Trademark Department of Kim & Chang for about 6 years where she gained experience in trademark, design, domain name, copyright, and unfair competition laws for global companies in Korea and abroad.

Sun-Young Ong graduated from Ewha Womans University (B.A. in Industrial Design and minored in Psychology). She speaks fluent English and is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association.
