Patent Attorney

Jin–Oh Song is a Patent Attorney at Lee International IP & Law. Mr. Song’s practice focuses on patent cases in the fields of electronics, telecommunications, and semiconductors in general. In particular, his practice involves preparing of domestic and international patent applications, appeals briefs, and appeals process against decision of rejection/refusal.

Prior to joining the firm Mr. Song was at First Law P.C. for 17 years where he represented corporate clients from the U.S., Japan, and China, and handled cases on the protection and recognition of IPR in the Korean market. After leaving First Law P.C., Mr. Song joined S.Y. Cha Patent Office where he was able to gain extensive experience advising U.S. and Chinese corporate clients on a wide range of technology cases.

Mr. Song furthered his studies in Japan where he was able to gain first-hand knowledge of the Japanese technology industry, and currently provides advisory services to Japanese corporate clients with a distinct advantage based on his studies and experiences in Japan.
