Joo-Hoon LEE

Patent Attorney

Joo-Hoon Lee is a patent attorney in the Trademark Department of Lee International IP & Law. He handles the filing and registration of trademarks and designs, as well as various proceedings and litigation involving trademark and design rights, including oppositions, third-party observations, invalidation trials and cancellation actions. He also advises domestic and international clients on securing and protecting intellectual property rights and provides a wide range of related advisory services.
After being admitted as a Korean Patent & Trademark Attorney in 2020, Mr. Lee gained practical experience at KBK & Associates, where he handled trademark and design matters for major Korean companies. He later led the Trademark Department at PI IP Law, overseeing the firm's trademark, design, and copyright practice while handling a broad range of domestic, incoming, and outgoing matters. Through this experience, he has developed expertise across the full spectrum of trademark and design practice, from filing and registration to trials, litigation and dispute resolution.
Mr. Lee graduated from Hanyang University with dual majors in Chemistry and Economics and Finance. He is also fluent in English and communicates effectively with international clients. He is a member of the Korea Patent Attorneys Association.
