Sung-Ho Hong is a US Patent Agent at Lee International IP & Law since 2010. He has been working in preparation and prosecution of patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for various clients including individual inventors and large corporations. Dr. Hong also has been involved in various types of intellectual property matters including patent litigation, transaction counseling, and rendering of validity and infringement opinions. He has counseled clients on issues such as the patentability of inventions and designing around patents.

Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Hong had worked at Morgan & Finnegan LLP and Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell LLP in New York City for over 11 years where he had been active in litigation support, scientific and technical evaluations, and validity and infringement analyses in the areas of computer hardware/software and electrical systems/circuits with various applications such as semiconductor devices (e.g., CPU, DRAM and TFT), display devices (e.g., LCD and PDP), photonics (e.g., VCSEL and LED), wireless communications (e.g., cellular phones and satellite communications), and electromechanical devices (e.g., motors and controllers) and medical devices (e.g., MRI). He had worked at Samsung Electronics for more than 5 years as a researcher.
