Jae-Gap Kim is a patent attorney with broad experience in filing and prosecuting patent applications in the technical fields of electric and electronics, including patents on semiconductors, displays, communication devices and circuits.

Since joining Lee International IP & Law in 2011, Mr. Kim has expanded his practice areas to include various technical fields, such as semiconductor devices, optical devices, display devices, lighting devices, wireless communications, signal processing, communication networks and electronic circuits. He has successfully handled responses to office actions, prior art searches, appeals of final rejections, invalidation trials and many others, etc. Further, he has extensive experience in analyzing standard essential patents and technologies related to wireless communications (e.g., 3GPP LTE etc.). He has handled many patent applications for telecommunications companies in the U.S.

Mr. Kim is a graduate of KAIST with a B.S. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (2009). He is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association.
