Eun-Young Park has a full range of experience prosecuting patent applications before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) in the technical fields of telecommunication, networking, semiconductors, displays, MPEG, digital signaling processing and software-related inventions.
Ms. Park began her career working for LG Electronics Institute of Technology as a researcher. Upon being admitted as a patent attorney, she worked for Central International Law Firm and Horizon Law Group where she gained extensive experience in prosecuting patent applications before the KIPO and in bringing invalidation trials before the KIPO's Intellectual Property Tribunal. She has developed an expertise in the areas of computer science, electronics and electrical engineering. Ms. Park has also advised various Korean venture companies on patentability and infringement issues in relation to software inventions.
Since joining Lee International IP & Law in 2002, Ms. Park has managed patent cases relating to technologies such as seamless handovers, joint detection and interference cancellation, fundamental system architecture, bandwidth on demand, power controls, packet data and global pilot channels. She has also supervised the filing and prosecution of patent applications for many of the firm’s valued clients.
Ms. Park practiced as a foreign legal intern at Morgan Lewis in Washington D.C. She is a graduate of POSTECH (Pohang University of Science and Technology) (B.S., computer science, 1993) and Franklin Pierce Law Center (M.I.P., 2008). She is a member of the Korean Patent Attorneys Association and AIPPI.
